Schluechthaus

Awarded second prize in the European architectural competition for the transformation of Luxembourg’s former abattoir, the proposal reimagines the industrial site as an open civic landscape for culture, urban sports and collective life. Existing structures are preserved and connected through new public spaces, landscape interventions and carefully positioned architectural elements, allowing the identity of the site to support new forms of occupation.
